Your manual will be your personal resource throughout the Aer Lingus Classic and will serve as a place to continue to gather the information you’ll need on-site.
A digital version is available at the link below.
We will be using WhatsApp for on-site communications. Please be sure to download the app and set up your account prior to arriving in Ireland.
Use the link above to join our Aer Lingus Classic OL community, a collection of all the ALC23 WhatsApp groups. PLEASE NOTE: When you get on-site, your lead will provide you with direct invite link(s) to the group(s) you need to be a part of.
How it works:
Be sure to keep notifications on in the Announcements channel. This is where Workforce Operations will share any important event-wide communications. This is a 1-way group.
All regions will have their own group within our WhatsApp community. Note, in an effort to reduce chat noise, requests to join groups for regions in which you are not working will not be granted.
Need a 1:1 chat? Most issues should be routed through your lead, who can escalate as appropriate. Should you need to access Workforce Operations directly, use the WFO Questions group to request a private chat.
Please keep your regional groups to work chat only! We have provided an all-team casual chat group (ALC Chat) for non-work conversations.
Taking awesome event pictures? Please share them with us in ALC Chat - they might end up in the daily newsletters!

General guidelines: Professional, comfortable attire, must be work appropriate.
Guest-Facing Attire:
Workforce should be in provided ALC gear whenever client-facing.
Pants: Black, navy, khaki, or similar solid-colored pants. Jeans, sweatpants, and leggings are NOT acceptable for guest-facing days.
Shoes: Comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Dress shoes or clean tennis shoes are acceptable. Keep in mind that streets are uneven and you will walk extensively on certain days.
Travel/Training/Preparation Days:
When not guest-facing, attire expectations are more relaxed, but please remember that you are still representing On Location during all working days!
You may wear other On Location gear that does not ALSO have other league/event branding. Clean jeans with no rips are fine.
For workforce traveling to Ireland, per diem will be advanced and does not need to be tracked while on-site. It will be added to your paycheck on August 11.

Outlet adapters and voltage converters are essential for using devices while abroad, as power outlets in Ireland and the United Kingdom are a different shape and emit a different voltage (Type A & B, 100-120V in the U.S. vs. Type G, 220-240V in Ireland/UK).
Outlet adapters simply change the shape of the plug, while converters actually convert the voltage of the electricity to match.
Compatible with an adapter or converter: most smartphones, laptops, and other portable electronic devices
Must use a converter: hair tools, electric shavers, and toothbrushes
*Always check the small print on your device to see what voltage it can handle. If you see 100-240V printed on a device it is dual voltage and will work without a converter.
On Location credit cards: can be used abroad for all necessary, event-related expenses, except for per diem. All expenses over $25 must include a receipt- always save receipts!
Personal credit cards: Credit cards charge foreign transaction and currency conversion fees. Check your card’s policy on international use! MasterCard and Visa cards are widely accepted; however, American Express is not always accepted, and a having an alternate option is recommended.
Cash exchange: If you wish to carry cash on hand for tipping or other reasons, it is advised to take out euros or pounds at an ATM once you arrive on-site.
Make a color copy of your passport and store it in a separate bag than your actual passport.
Contact your debit and credit card providers!
Set up your international phone plan.
Download WhatsApp and set up your account. Be sure to join the ACL community!
If you received an apparel shipment, pack your apparel, staff manual, name badge, and other items that were sent to you.
Pack your laptop, chargers, and adapters.
Consult Ireland forecast, and pack appropriately for weather. Think layers, clothes for rainy and sunny-but-cooler days.
Schedule and game day bus map to come.
As a part of Endeavor's workforce security plan, WorldCue Crisis24 is a platform that provides location-based weather and security alerts. This critical platform contains workforce travel information, allowing Workforce Operations to provide appropriate alerts to workforce in case of an emergency.
To take full use of the platform, we recommend that you create an account and download the app to receive these alerts yourself. If you have an On Location, Anthony Travel, IMG, or Endeavor email address, you can create an account on your own using the instructions linked below. If you do not, we are in the process of importing your email addresses into WorldCue, and you should receive a login invite soon. Visit bit.ly/alcstaff and select WorldCue from the dropdown if you have any questions.
In addition to security alerts, the app provides easy access to local emergency numbers, a safety check-in button, and a button that allows you to request emergency help by text if calling is not an option.
Physical Leap cards will be provided for guests and workforce to take advantage of Dublin’s transportation!
The Luas: Light rail tram system
The DART: (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) Electric train system
Taxis are an option to get around the city, but Dublin traffic is notorious for being slow.
Use FREE NOW to book taxis. P.S. It's not actually free, but still a great option!
FYI - Uber operates as a platform to call taxis as well, rather than to hire a private ride-share vehicle.
Suggested sites/apps to navigate transportation:
